Registry Optimizers

Ive heard that registry optimizers (defrag) help your computer go faster. :D

I have used CCleaners Registry Cleaner And It Was Noticibly Faster One Time But It Went Slow Again For Some Reason.

Im serious with all this registry stuff because ive broken my computer about 5 times!

is NTREGOPT safe because ive used RegCompact.NET and it freezes my computer everytime i run it so NTREGOPT is my only alternative ive heard of.

If anyone else has used NTREGOPT please tell me if it is safe or if it can occasionally destroy your computer.

CCleaner Rocks!!!

I Only left 2 entry found by its reg cleaner because it looked unsafe!!

it was called windows login or something like that and it reminded me of an incident!

i used WINASO Registry Cleaner and used its optimize settings tools and once i done that my computer could no longer login! It kept logging back out.

even in safe mode it done this!

So i never used it again even though that has nothing to do with an cleaner.

Is Easy Cleaner And CCleaner Good Together?

I just installed divx and for some reason easycleaners reg cleaner found entrys by it when it was just installed? So i just left it. ;)

NTREGOPT should be safe to use and it will create backups of the original registry files. If at any time you wish to remove the backups (they have the .bak extension) there's many system utilities that will find .bak file extensions and offer to delete them.

Is Easy Cleaner And CCleaner Good Together?

EasyCleaner will typically only find a few registry entries that CCleaner doesn't, and it's Unnecessary files finder can be customized to find files or ignore files. It's Registry cleaner can be customized to ignore entries, and one entry you should immediately put into the Registry cleaner to ignore so that it doesn't mess with settings is: CCleaner

With EasyCleaner you need to avoid the Duplicates since that's the dangerous part of the program.
