Hi,
Just a suggestion, sorry if it's been suggested before: I wanted to get rid of VMware. Its uninstaller failed to work so I decided to do it myself using plain Delete, the Windows Installer Cleanup Tool and the VMware cleanup tool. Yes, I know doing it yourself isn't good but what was I to do?
After rebooting, I found that my mouse worked, yes, but upon pressing a key, both keyboard and mouse stopped working. This persisted even in Safe Mode.
After some Googling, I found xxxxxxxxxxxxx and after looking at the key mentioned, I saw it was trying to load the non-existent VMware filter. This brings me, finally, to:
Can CCleaner check those keys mentioned there and the ones for the CD drives (their drive letters are not shown when a filter for them is missing) for any filters that do not exist? My apologies if CCleaner already does this.
Thanks!
