Registry Cleaning

For Windows, CCleaner has a cool feature to remove locked files on reboot if necessary.

Although it does not happen often, I have had times when a registry key, or even 2 of them appear to be impossible to delete. They are verified to be trash keys, just won't leave!

Any way to add a function (Similar to CCleaner function) of adding a "Delete key on reboot. Reboot required to delete key(s)?" to CCleaner?

I sure would love the ability to delete them when they crop up once in a blue moon!

Some keys must have Admin rights on them which require a manual change in the registry to remove them, even if running under an Admin account. Then there's others which are "invalid" and can't be removed, and then some invisible variety that rootkit scanners may detect as suspicious.

True, so true!

But if it happens before reboot, why couldn't it be deleted?

Unlocker by Cedrick Collomb has very few files (if any) it cannot delete on reboot.

If it happens before windows loads, it shouldn't be a problem, should it?

Fill me in, heh!

Files was not what Andavari mentioned; he mentioned the second part of your post, reg keys.
