When i run registry cleaner it freezes at 54% done. I then cannot delete or close down site. I have updated and run a new ccleaner through but it keeps happening. Any suggestions?
XP, Vista or win7?
Are you able to see what it is freezing at?
What happens if you run ccleaner in safe mode?
You need to untick everything in the registry cleaner and then enable each item one at a time to find out which one is causing it. Report that back, and also as already pointed out post your Windows version and CCleaner version.
Edit: Forgot: You can right click single entries on the left in the registry cleaner to have CCleaner just scan for those one at a time. You won't need to untick all those cleaners then.
