Registry backup?

Hi,

I just used CCleaner for my registry, and i did do a backup. How long should i keep the registry backup and when can i delete it?

It's up to you, keep them however long you think is necessary to be sure that deleting them from the registry did no harm. One experienced user here said he keeps them for a week. I keep them for a month, mostly for convenience; I label them with the date, and a quick glance at the numbers tells me which ones are a month old. I must say, though , that I've never needed to restore any of those backups.

You're welcome. I might add that some others don't bother with the backups at all, but I think it's best to err on the side of caution.
