I just started using the registry backup and only deleated the registry items I thought I knew I didn't need
Created a backup and when i went to look at it, the file type on it was File?
I added .reg to the end and it seems to be right, but is this still safe to restore if need be?
Also, if not how can I remove the .reg ending?

i had exactly the same thing happen with version 2.0. must be a bug of some kind. i hope it can be fixed soon.
