Registration question

I just renewed my CCleaner subscription -- early. I was led to believe that if I renewed early, the additional time would be added to the time left on my current, old subscription and I wouldn't lose any paid coverage.

My old license key was set to expire on July 4, 2022, just under two months from now.

But after purchasing and registering a new year of coverage and entering the new license key ... my new expiration date is now exactly one year from today, 5/7/2023. What that means that I am being penalized two months of paid coverage for having registered early.

Is that the way it is supposed to be?

As long as the license was filed under the same name or email address then an automated bot (two times a day i believe) goes through and fixes the extention date. I'd wait around another day and check it again.
