Refresh program listings

I noticed that CCleaner uninstall function sometimes fails to re-fresh after running a program uninstaller function.

If you uninstall 5, 10, or 50 programs, it becomes VERY confusing to still see the program listed, then get the error that it is no longer there if you click it to try to re-run it.

I get confused sometimes, because people have 10 or 20 toolbars they need removed, as well as other elements, not to mention the testing I do personally!

I sure wish it could refresh the program listing after running an uninstaller!

At the least, detect it is no longer there, & refresh the display so I don't have to exit CCleaner, then reload it to see the "updated" display.

Sure, that works, but it's time consuming!

Have you tried switching out of Tools/Uninstaller to Cleaner and then back to Tools/Uninstaller ?

I have never uninstalled more than 1 thing at a time and so never had your particular problem.

but I remember that some other screens may need a refresh and switching away and back worked for me.

I support your suggestion but offer this as a possible interim solution.

It has a mind of its own. Most of the times, it does update the list but I have got the same error as well about the program not existing.

Yes, I have always done what Alan_B suggested: Switching between the other tabs.

Have you not tried IOBit Uninstaller Portable, it can specifically target all those crap toolbars and uninstall allot of crap in one go.

Yes, I have used that, as well as Zsoft, & many others.

But I like CCleaner the best, if it will refresh...

Good programs, just I like CCleaner.
