Recycle bin problem

Maybe I am a bonehead, but I have been testing the recycle bin recovery, and I cannot seem to find files I have deleted only shortcuts or lnk files. IS there something I am missing?

I have also experienced a similar issue ... see my entries in the bug reporting section.

The problem does not occur if I bypass the recycle bin ...
