I am trying v1087 after making a mistake during a backup two days back. (Yes, a safety backup that went dramaticall wrong!) with Macrium that then deleted the HD before backing up the directories.....!
Recuver has seen the files (but not the directories) and marked then excellent. Unfortunately each test of a few recovered files has shown the actual file to be unusable - not recognised as valid. So far, it is definitely not worth registering but if someone can tell me how to fix this, I will register.
