Downloaded, then installed RECUVA. Then, when I clicked shortcut to open, THIS IS WHAT I'S GOT:

Recuva does not currently support Windows 98, but we may add support in a future version if there is enough demand.

My mates have 98SE and want recuva

*cough* Get a new computer with XP *cough*

Anything before 2000 Pro is dead, and XP is stable and workable.

It sure is but some people NOT ME can afford to upgrad and they may like there computer

I have the same problem. The program does not want to open after being installed. Recuva professional. It gives a similar message or the message that the program needs administrator permission. I have created a new administrator with a new password, suggested by Microsoft, but it still does not want to open. I have been trying for several hours now. Please help! It probably has something to do with WINDOWS XP HOME EDITION (SERVICE PACK 3) The program installed without any problems.
