The latest version of Recuva (v1.29) brings support for new applications and file types, and improved support in other areas.
First, we're pleased to announce that Recuva now supports Mozilla Thunderbird. If you're using this excellent email program, Recuva can restore any emails you've deleted by mistake - using the same interface you're already familiar with (just do a normal scan and look for a file called 'Thunderbird_emails.zip'). The emails are restored as .eml files, so that means attachments are also recovered.
If you're a pro (or prosumer) photographer, you'll appreciate Recuva's new support for the Nikon RAW image file format during the Deep Scan process.
Also for those of you using exFAT for flash drives, we've improved Recuva's support for this Microsoft format.
The full change log is below:
- Added recovery of deleted Thunderbird emails.
- Added support for Nikon RAW in Deep Scan.
- Improved support of exFAT drives.
- Improved recovery of JPG images from NTFS drives.
- Various minor tweaks.
