I recently went to a concert, took some pics, offloaded them to my pc, made sure they were ok, then deleted off my mem card
a few days later, when trying to backup and upload some of the pics, I kept getting a error: "data error (cyclic redundancy check)"
disheartened, I thought those pics were lost forever; after seeing that the makers of CCleaner, which I love, made a recovery tool, I felt a little better about my chances. I thought recuva would only work on the hard disks, but to my surprise, it worked on the memory card!!!

i am happy , though a little worried
that the CRC error may mean my hd is on its way out
but at least i have my pics back!!!
