I installed & ran Uniblue Registry Booster earlier this month and it really did a job on my machine...and they cannot help me recover.
I have since reinstalled my Vista, and even tho Money 2006 is listed it doesn't show up on Start Menu or elsewhere.
Today is my first day working with the Recuva program.
1. Today I ran Recuva looking for my MS Money Files, found: NTFS, 144GB.cluster size:4096.file record size: 1-24.
Found 2804 files (58092 ignored) in 2896.91 secs.
Looking thru these files I clicked on one that was listed as "poor", it opened in Win. Media Player. It was a
help file and tho I didn't play it thru completely, it seemed fine to me.
I thought I had saved all these files to a 4GB flash drive labeled "K", but the folder shows "empty".
2. I ran it again...in deep scan, and there are 604913 files listed. Failed to scan the following drives: F: G: H:
I:. 2895.19 secs.
What I really, really need is to find my MS Money Program Files, as well as my Money files.
I still have the deep scan open, and hope within a few hours, someone will have some answers for me.
Thanks in advance and God bless.
