Recuva not detecting iPod touch

I'm trying to recover a deleted photo from my iPod Touch 4G, but Recuva is not detecting it as being connected.

Using Windows 7 64-bit

Recuva 1.40.525 (current)

iTunes 10.2.1.1

I've tried unplugging the ipod and plugging it back in while Recuva is running, and tried running with the iTunes program both on and off. Also tried making sure the iPod itself was on and active (not in sleep mode).

The iPod shows up fine in iTunes and via Windows Explorer.

Any ideas what I should do to get it detected? Thank you!

As far as I can tell the iPod touch 4G is an MTP device (it lacks a drive letter) unfortunately there's no direct disk access support with MTP so you cannot use Recuva.
