I've used Recuva quite a bit over the last few years and have never had a problem before, on the same computer I have now which is an Asus laptop running windows 8. But recently when I try to deep scan it hangs at 65% and never goes further. The first time this happened it actually crashed and it said there was some error on the hard drive. After this I have run the CMD program and it doesn't find any errors on my hard drive. While it won't crash any longer it still never makes it past 65%. Any suggestions on what the issue may be or what I should do to fix it?
