Recuva doesn't launch properly on Windows 10

For some reason, recuva gets launched as a Background process, and doesn't shows any signs of life. I installed the lastest version of this program.image.thumb.png.f2a2ab3c0d7fc9261d1c6e4a3f07474b.png

My system is WIndows 10, just a reminder.

I have exactly the same problem. Uninstalled (which didn't delete the .exe files or the folder, so deleted those manually) and downloaded and reinstalled, still doing nothing. This on Win 10, fully updated. Recuva is part of my CCleaner Pro package, so I've paid for it...

We've seen this occur with CCleaner from time to time due to a conflict with the installed antivirus software, so perhaps that's the issue here. I would recommend making an exception for Recuva to see if this allows it to run as intended.

(It's definitely odd that the uninstaller didn't remove the .exe files, which is kind of its main purpose, which is also making me think something is preventing proper access to them.)
