Tried to recover documents from C drive. Message said "Stage 1 of 3: scanning drive for deleted files". Took nearly 4 hours then failed with comment "Failed to scan following drive C: Ran out of memory". The progress monitor got to 96% and only 20mins left when it failed. This was set to recover all documents; is it possible to enter parameters to only retrieve Excel [.xls] which are the most important to me? Perhaps then I would have enough memory. Thanks in advance for any help.
