I have a client that has a HP Pavilion X2 Tablet PC that is running Windows 8.1. They deleted one of their user profiles that had some important files. I ran Recuva and it recovered some of the files, .doc, .xls, etc. But it is still missing some files. So I decided to run the Deep Scan on Recuva. When the deep scan finishes it comes back and says unable to determine file system type. I have ran chkdsk /f /r and checked the hard drive everything is working fine so why is it saying that it cannot determine file system type? Recuva just quits at that point and I cannot recover anything.
