HI does anyone know how to recover a bunch of pics at the same time using recuva? I have about a thousand images that I accidentally lost and recuva has found them BUT can I somehow check them all at once instead of having to check each image individually? thanks so much for your help J
As with any mass file selection, you have to group the files together. In List View you can sort the files by name, date etc, or in Advanced Mode enter a file or folder name in the Filename or path box, or you can group them in a Tree View.
Thanks but what Im really asking is do I have to check all one thousand twenty eight images individually before I recover? With my editing programs, I can check all the pics at once using the shift key,and then I send them to the folder I want. Is this possible to do with the advanced recuva? I have checked them individually, and then tried to send them to the folder, but only five pics were moved. Thanks in advance for your help again. James
Yes, you can check all files listed with the master check box top left, or highlight a section with the shift key. I think what you're saying is that not all the files you selected were recovered. This is quite possible, normal in fact. The recovery info box will list the files recovered and those not, and the reason why.
