I'm using recuva to recover some images deleted from a 64GB SD card formated with exFAT from a phone running android 5.1
It finds the images and they are marked as excellent quality, when recovered they have the correct file name and size, however the recovered files won't open in normal programs (Photoshop, win 10 viewer) they will open in irfranview but only open as 192x128 boxes filled with pale pink colour.
I checked them out with a hex editor and the hex seems to be mostly blank, either all F's or 0's maybe half and half.
Any ideas what is going on here? or how to recover them?
