Recovered photos only 160x120

Hello Recuva Experts,

I downloaded a program to make my USB drive bootable. I should have known that the program would format my drive. The program wasn't very big so most everything is recoverable. Music files sound fine and text files are intact. But my photo files are recovered as 160x120- almost too small to be of any use at all. Initially I feared that these JPEG files were damaged and I was out of luck. But trial versions of other undelete programs seem to find the pictures at their full size.

I have a nice new ACER laptop running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.

My USB drive is a 16GB PNY with an NTFS file system an its in good shape. I doubt it makes a difference but this 2.0 USB drive is being used in a 3.0 reverse compatible port. I tried the Deep Recovery solution.

Would you fine folks tell me what I am doing wrong? I'd sure appreciate it!

John

Hey Recuva Experts!

Since my original post, I have discovered that my Mp3 files are not complete either... if that gives a further clue.

what sort of drive format was performed by that 'make my USB drive bootable' program?

full format or quick format?

what is the program name?
