Recovered files doesn't work

I lost a lot of information weeks ago and recuva recovered all. But most of all doesn't work (Mainly xls and mdb files) .

I scaned again my computer and files that recuva say they where excelent, are not working at all... What fails?? What can I do?? I really need to recover my database ...

Recuva will recover whatever is in the clusters (that were) allocated to the file. It doesn't validate the contents, which may have been overwritten sometime. You can't really do much apart from a deep scan.
