The whole story: customer brings in computer and wants it formatted/reinstalled. I inform customer that data will be lost and the customer gives the OK. Of course, after formatting and a fresh install of Vista, the customer calls with the inevitable "Where are my Pictures?"
So, I ran Recuva (deep scan), and it did find a bunch of files, but they do not look to be reassembled correctly. For example, recuva generated some files like
IMG_0001.jpg
IMG_0001_1.jpg
IMG_0001_2.jpg
IMG_0001_3.jpg
The customer uses a Canon camera, which would name them just IMG_0001.JPG, without the last _X before the .JPG
So, is there any way to combine those files into one?
Thanks!
Jason
