Recover shows recovered files as saving but nothing in folder

A) When I choose to recover to a new folder on the desktop, no folder appears on the desktop

B) The browse function in recover does not show all folders available

C) When I choose to recover to a folder it does actually see, it seems to be saving files but when it completes, there are no files in that folder...

PLEASE HELP! Thank you...

You are saving the files to a different drive than the one you are recovering them from aren't you?
