My external hard drive was acting weird. I got a pop-up saying something about Check to automatically fix file system errors. So I did and it erased my whole picture folders on the external drive. I ran this program and it only recovered some images. I had images from over 9 years on my hard drive, ( I was planning on moving everything to my new hard drive) Is there a way to recover a whole folder?
You could try running with Scan for Non-Deleted Files checked (switch to Advanced Mode, select Options/Actions and check the right box). You can then select Tree View and select whatever folder you want for recovery.
Alternatively a deep scan might find more pics, but takes a long time and doesn't maintain the file names or folder structures.
