Is it possible to recover files from a printer HDD? (I mean, not only with Recuva, but with another software or something...)
The folder on the printer is accessible via \\IPa.ddr.e.ss\file_share\scan
There were a lot of scanned PDF documents but suddenly the folder vanished and the HDD of the printer is empty now. Someone might have deleted or cutted the folder, whatever... Is there a way to recover the files?

I would have thought that if your printer has a real hard drive like a pc and a photo copier does, there should be no reason why it cannot be recovered . Are you able to remove the drive easily?
Depends on the format of the drive, though my guess is it'll be RAW or EXTFS (of one version or another) and thus may not recover, I'm also pretty sure that'l you'll at least have to remove it from the printer as I don't believe recuva will work on network drives/Addresses
Yes it had a removable HDD that could be connected to a computer, but the reponsibles for the printers decided not to touch it (it was from my work).
