but when I get the key and my name a message appears.
try disabling your HOSTS file to see if it is causing a problem. to do that, you can temporarily rename the HOSTS file to "nohosts."
you can change it back to "hosts" when you have finished troubleshooting.
the HOSTS file is located at "c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc."
do you use the "spybot s&d" antimalware program? it can be used to generate a hosts file and i suspect that that is the source of the problem that some people have experienced with not being able to activate their ccleaner licenses.
it has been known to cause problems with the HOSTS file in the past and it is the only program that i know of that generates a HOSTS file.
you can use "notepad" or "notepad++" to edit the HOSTS file. they need to be run with administrator privileges in order to be able to edit the HOSTS file. you probably could look to remove anything belonging to "piriform.com," "ccleaner.com," or "avast.com" from the HOSTS file.
