Forgive me if this is a dumb question but...
I am using XP on a Thinkpad R60e. If I 'Wipe Entire Drive' will I still be able to boot up after? Will XP still work or will I need to re-install everything?
Thanks

Running Wipe Disk tool on a system partition while the system is running wont hurt the OS or files, but running it on a storage partition will delete all the data.
People need to realize the free wipe offered by CCleaner is weak and doesn't entirely wipe the drive clean. I've used CCleaner to wipe my hard drive and then used Recuva to recover files, and there was enormous amount of files that were still recoverable. And yes, I ran the program using administrator priviledge.
I'm going to use Eraser and see the difference with Recuva.
OK for anyone who cares, I just ran Eraser with 1-pass, and used Recuva, and it did much much better job. I wasn't able to recover any files.

You seem to spend a good proportion of your time on the forum promoting the use of other software.
Tread carefully.
What I am trying to do is wipe the entire drive.
I am selling the computer and I want to delete all my private info.
Can I not wipe the entire C drive safely with CCleaner?
And btw, loveranger, please don't suggest Eraser again. I tried it. It stinks.

If you think Eraser stinks, then you shouldn't even try CCleaner. I'm sure you never used it correctly.
1-pass (Pse), cluster tips enabled, run as administrator - it should do the job. It will take awhile though.

Enough is enough, the original poster is specific in what he is asking for.

It is not possible to successfully wipe an entire C:\ whilst running under live Windows located on C:\
Using CCleaner and running under Windows you can securely delete all documents.
Trying to ensure that you purge all bank accounts and valuable private data will noy be easy.
Then of course you need to Wipe Free Space so Recuva etc cannot undelete any old files.
It would be safer to wipe the whole drive, and sell the P.C. with any legal installation media.
To wipe the whole drive you must run under something different - either using the "other" system on a dual boot P.C.
or more reasonably using a BOOT CD such as
