I would like to delete RealPlayer's temp files and cookies. I did manage to find the settings for this inside RealPlayers unintelligent and heavy "Preferences" display/GUI or whatever they call that function but it would be so much more easy to let CCleaner do the job. Any chance of this in future CCleaner updates?
Perhaps I should add that this regards their new RealPlayer SP freeware version that came out 8 weeks ago or something like that...
It's probably a cleaning routine that just needs to be updated.
Other than that my trial of the new RP SP was an impressive one, albeit with many pro features missing which are easy enough to get in free alternatives.

So this will be updated in a future CCleaner version, your guess is?

I like RealPlayer. Sort of. I never had the pro version - not even as a trial. RealPlayer never gets it quite right. They improve and update but somehow they never get ahead. VLC, iTunes, WinAmp and others always manage to take big bites of the territory...
I don't know when it will be updated in CCleaner. You could always add locations you find that need cleaning into Options->Include in the meantime.
RP does in fact have some unforgivable misses, such as not offering gapless MP3 playback with properly encoded LAME albums, etc.
Yep. And RealPlayer also can't play all Apple's stuff. QuickTime annoys me. I'm not all that annoyed with RealPlayer for some reason. It is possible to get RealPlayer of the start function and it's not bundled with an image viewer and a lot of other silly things.
Thanks for answering. Perhaps the tech people from CCleaner will notice this thread and update the RealPlayer settings in CCleaner...
