Real Player

My bad---I misunderstood Dennis.... lol ... BTW Dennis, I did get your message.

Andavari..thanks for the codec information - I will probably install that and uninstall RealPlayer.

I will probably install that and uninstall RealPlayer.

Make sure you remove Real Player, and QuickTime first then run CCleaner's Issues multiple times afterwords. K-Lite Mega Codec Pack doesn't like it when those other players are installed and may not work correctly with them installed.

Its IP theft to use alternatives to quick time and realplayer. I just dont use those technologies in my media. Being a wintel user I have ffdshow tryouts with libavcodec to deal with the things that Vista wont do by default along with direct vobsub and haali's matroska splitter- e.g. Vorbis, mpeg4-asp, H.264, MKV, external subs etcetc

I use RealPlayer and its a pretty good media player but i do have to admit that theres this whole page on RealPlayer ads when you start it.

theres this whole page on RealPlayer ads when you start it.

You can launch RealPlayer without that mediabrowser.

Well..the new version (which is still BETA) can download Youtube vids. ^_^ but there ha sbeen a new security exploit found in it, so until a patch is available, it's out of my PC.
