Hey thanks for any help I get offered here appreciate it. I'm planning to buy a custom made computer in OSAN Korea I'm in the military and this computer seems to be the best offered at this shop I'd appreciate any comments about this computer and if its worth the price they are asking.
Sorry if there was a special way of posting topics I had no time to read any special instructions I know some websites have you do it a special way so if i did let me know
7.1 High Definition Sound i think it said.. didn't write it down
$1993.00
Does not include monitor offers standard keyboard and a 3 button optical mouse. I believe there was more specs to it but i wrote everything that seemed important if you need more information about the computer please tell me. Was in a rush when i wrote this out so if anything doesn't make sense let me know and I'll clarify.
For $1,799 you would get just about everything the same but you would get a faster processor, 19in lcd, and it would be coming from dell a major company where you could get a warranty if you were to leave where your staying anytime soon.
With HP you could get a better computer for about the same price if you customize it here(they are offering free 2gig upgrades and 19in monitor upgrades):
1504.76$ without shipping.... ..to my house it's $1,557.84.
I didn't even try to find the deals on those products and I spent almost five hundred dollars less than you, and it includes a 22" LCD/Speakers/Kb/Mouse, and most of all a decent PSU. The one that comes with a case is horrible.
I'd also recommend thinking whether to start using Vista on this computer or not. I bought pretty powerful computer recently, with Core Duo 2 6600 @ 3.2 mHz (overclocked on site), 2 Gb DDR2, 500 Gb Samsung Spinpoint, etc. but instead of Vista, I took trusty old XP instead. Mainly because of Vista's compatibility problems with many software and hardware, but also because it really takes a lot of RAM. That shop even recommended XP instead for this set.
Why? Vista is a crippled operating system, SP1 or not. It's defective by design. Vista users seeking all the incompatibility and sluggishness should go download an alpha release of a Linux distro and put KDE on it (though to be honest KDE is getting faster).

Not sure how this turned into a test-drive of Linux, but let me give you the 101: It's an Operating System, and does require installation. It's not like Windows in a lot of senses, and can be a little odd to get used to (though windows managers like XFCE, GNOME, and KDE are very user-friendly).
thanks for the replies.. sorry for the late response its not like i just got the answer i was looking and disappeared.. haha my retarded a$$ forgot where i posted the s**t lol..
but anyways thanks for the help and more is welcome
