RAC.tmp. files

If I search for .tmp files in Safe mode there are several RAC.tmp files starting with a few numbers and a letter: A1234RAC.tmp. Seem to be created by Outlook 2007, but I am not sure. No malware on the machine. Sun JRE has been uninstalled.

Please include a feature to remove these files.

Thank you.

Where are they located? What does Safe Mode have to do with it. Are they not found if you are in not safe mode? and if so how would you expect ccleaner to find them?

Typical File name: RAC1234.tmp

Location: C:Windows/Source Profiles/Local Services/AppData/Local

(I go into Safe Mode just to ensure that Vista will allow me to delete the files)

I'm Afraid I'm a bit at a loss as the internet has barely ever heard of "RAC.tmp" files

I found this

http://itqueries.com...g-rasman-files/

is that maybe what you are seeing?

I've never even heard of the folder "%windir%\source profile\"

Sadly I don't have a Vista To look into if this folder only exisits in that OS version so I not sure where to go from here. . .

But have heart we've many many users on this forum so maybe other may be able to shed better light on if it is alright to remove these files

Only thing I've come up with so far is Oracle's RAC files (Real Application Cluster)
