Question about CCleaner

So a friend recommended CCleaner and so far, I really like it. I'm not exactly an advanced techie or anything but I know my way around my computer. My main question is, when I run CCleaner it is showing me anywhere from 10-300 MBs of space avail. of free space after cleaning. Is this normal? This seems like a lot! I never saw those amounts when just using Windows 7 Disk Cleaner. It concerns me a bit but I usually run it after analyzing and everything seems fine. Computer is actually running faster. Any opinions would be appreciated!

Did you delete restore points??

That's about normal, especially if you use other browsers like Firefox or Chrome, which wouldn't get cleaned by the disk cleanup utility.

10-300 MBs of space avail. of free space

Do you mean that your C:\ drive has filled to a level of 10-300 MB?

IF SO:

This means that you ran Wipe Free Space (on of the check marks in ccleaner's Advanced section on the Windows Tab; also a tool in the tools section) and that it was aborted.

Open ccleaner right click wipe free space (on Advanced section) and choose clean now

let it finish (it may take a while)

uncheck Wipe free space and don't ever run it (WFS) again until you plan to sell the hard drive.

I think they're saying that when they hit run cleaner, it deletes about 300MB of junk.
