Carnival Trick?

A boy was at a carnival and went to a booth where a man said to the boy, "If I write your exact weight on this piece of paper then you have to give me $50, but if I cannot, I will pay you $50." The boy looked around and saw no scale so he agrees, thinking no matter what the carny writes he'll just say he weighs more or less. In the end the boy ended up paying the man $50. How did the man win the bet?

I know how he won the bet. :)

im gonna bet my dad when he wakes up!

Haha.. The Carnival is kind of an old one... but it still gets people every time! The answer is too obvious for most people. No scales in the floors, remote super-duper satellite weight-detecting algorithms, just a simple answer that's right under your nose :P

The whole 50 bucks???

Actually,I might try it on the kids for only 20 cents though.

a cool something that you could bet others about

ask them if they want to bet you. all they have to do is answer 5 questions INCORRECTLY.

1) whats their name?

2) what country were they born in?

3) how old are they?

4) think for a second then be like, what question was that? was that question 3 or 4? (if they said 3, they answered it correctly)

5) (if they answered #4 incorrectly) wow, you've played this game befor havent you?!?! (if they say no, their probably answering it correctly then which would make you the winner).

Take your time and see if you can read each line aloud without a mistake:

This is this taco.

This is is taco.

This is how taco.

This is to taco.

This is keep taco.

This is an taco.

These are idiot tacos.

These are busy tacos.

This is for tacos.

This is thirty tacos.

This is seconds tacos.

Now go back and read the 3rd word in each line from the top to bottom.

Just kiddin :)

Ok this one is dinkum! :)

FINISHED FILES ARE THE RESULT OF YEARS OF SCIENTIFIC STUDY COMBINED WITH THE EXPERIENCE OF YEARS.

Now count aloud the F's in that sentence. Count them ONLY ONCE; do not go back and count them again.

How many did you count?

6?

This is pretty old but some of the younger ones may not have seen it before. :)

Three men went to a motel. The motel manager said a room cost $30, so each man put up $10 and went to their room.

A little while later the manager realized the room was only $25, so he sent the bellhop back to the three guys' room with $5.

On the way to the room the bellhop couldn't figure out how to split the $5 between the 3 men, so he gave each one of them $1 and he kept the other $2.

This meant that the 3 men paid $9 each for the room for a total of $27. Add the $2 that the bellhop kept = $29.

Where did the other dollar go?

Each guy pays $9.

The bellhop has $2.

Difference

$9 x 3 = $27 - $2 = $25

The hotel clerk has $25.

3 x $1 = 3,

1 x $2 = 2

2+3+25 = $30.

A little while later the manager realized the room was only $25, so he sent the bellhop back to the three guys' room with $5.

This meant that the 3 men paid $9 each for the room for a total of $27. Add the $2 that the bellhop kept = $29.

i dont get it. $25/$3 isnt $9.
