Need help provisioning an app. when running Ccleaner it will not correct the problem
What makes you think that CCleaner will help you provision an app?
I really don’t know what Ccleaner is capable of doing. I do know that this program has solved a lot of problems for me but now I am having problems with a message telling me that an application is not provisioned. I really don’t know what that means or what the fix is. I could use some help if this is not the correct venue please advise.
That means that the system or the application is broken in some way. So one or the other (or both) needs to be repaired.
It isn’t difficult to do.
Firstly check, and if needed repair, the system files using DISM and SFC.
Everybody with a Windows computer should learn how to do this, it’s the first things that you do to fix a problem computer (many do it once a month or even once a week just to check their system files are OK):
Note that with Windows 11 the DISM may appear to get stuck at 62.3%.
It isn’t stuck it is just taking a long time with certain files, let it continue and it will suddenly jump up to 100%.
However if it does go ‘busy’ at 62.3% then it can take up to 20 minutes on a decent speed machine, and it can be an hour or two on a slower machine.
You can keep using the computer for other things while DISM is churning away at 62.3%.
Once DISM has completed you then run SFC to check the System files and repair them if needed.
Here it wasn’t needed:
If SFC does find and repair errors then Restart your machine and run just SFC /scannow again (no need for another DISM).
Keep doing that until SFC no longer finds any errors which shows that your System files are good.
If you are still getting the ‘not provisioned’ error after that then I would repair or reinstall the app in question.
