I recently updated Ccleaner on my office and home machines. My office uses XP and my home machine uses Vista. In both instances, after the update to v2.22.968 a strange phenomenon is occurring. Now, whenever I click on the update button, two screens are launched- one in Firefox and one in IE. Firefox is my default browser. I uninstalled Ccleaner and reinstalled it but it still continues to occur. It is a bit annoying, but does not seem to cause any problems with the update.
