I'm totally new to all of this, so please excuse me if my question is not that clear
or just supid.
Today, I used the free version of Recuva for the first time to recover some pictures I deleted a long while ago, so I was not really expecting anything but I tried anyway.
Now, it seems as Recuva has found the pictures or at least one of them, I cannot really tell because of some sort of effect I will try to describe:
The whole picture looks like a puzzle, with fragments of the old file/files. Besides that, there seems to be some sort of effect that gives the whole picture a 'steel-like look' or however you want to describe it. I attached a part of the picture to show what I am talking about, hopefully this works. I guess that Recuva itself attaches this effect to the picture to show how damaged the file is, is that a possibility?
So, I am wondering if there is a way to somehow restore the picture or something like that, to make it look clearer?
Hopefully, you can help me, even if you tell me that there is no way to get the file back, what is it about this effect?
