License key doesn’t work. I’ve tried disbaling lan, antivirus and still couldn’t activate it
What error message are you getting when you try to enter the key?
The exact message wording can tell us what the problem probably is.
Where did you get the licence key from, was it from CCleaner or was it from somewhere else?
error ALPHA (0x10000003)
Error ALPHA (0x10000003) is usually because CCleaner cannot reach the license server to authenticate your product key.
This is generally caused by your Antivirus / Firewall settings blocking the access.
It could also be caused if you are using a VPN which is blocking the connection or is saying that you are in a sanctioned country such as Russia.
Or it could be that the server itself is temporarily offline.
Try again in case it was the server that was offline. If you are using a VPN then temporarily disable it first.
If you are using a 3rd party AV (ie. not Windows Defender) then check the logs to make sure that CCleaner (and Avast) are not being blocked.
(Some AV’s will sometimes block the Avast Content Delivery Network which is used by CCleaner).
yeah… still not working. I tried downloading the app through the website and also the link that they sent in the email with the license key(wich came in a very outdated version and also, couldn’t update to the latest) and neither worked. I deactivate all my firewalls, vpn checked out the proxy on the LAN config and still cant make it work
That definitely sounds that something is blocking your access to both the update server and the licence server.
I suggest that you will need to contact support.
