I'm trying to recover my files from a portalble harddisk but each time i select afew of them and click "Recover", it would stuck at the loading window. Canceling also doesnt work, it just get stucked there forever forcing me to end the process via ctrl alt delete and i have to scan the harddisk all over again. Any solution to this, thanks...
Try searching using "filename or path" instead of files. You may find the path with the files you are looking for there.

Just some thoughts.
That window I believe appears after you have selected the location to restore the files to. Could there be a problem with the recovery location?
Have you tried to recover different files on each attempt, just to make sure there isn't a problem with the initial files you're trying to get. Recovering files isn't an exact science, and sometimes files deemed as being OK, just aren't sadly.
Was there a problem with the drive, (has it failed, file system messed up) or is the drive fine, and it's simply deleted files you're after?
I could ask for more info like your Operating System, but I'm not sure what difference that would actually make at the moment.
