Hi everyone
I use Windows 10 Enterprise 64-bit version 1511 build 10586.3 and CCleaner v5.16.5551 64-bit
I recently found an startup program that was unknown to me so I looked for its file location
But it seems that this file is deleted
So I opened CCleaner startup tool to locate its registery entry
And when I click "open in regEdit" it opens the entry under HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
So what is the problem? The problem is that this entry is not located there but it's under HKLM\Software\WOW6432node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
I must mention that when ccleaner opens the key, regedit shows the first address, but when I myself open that key, entries are different and I even used REG command to make sure that entry really doesn't exist there and it doesn't.
And now when I analyze registery it also shows that entry under the first key so I'm afraid to delete that
I deleted that startup entry from its real location and ccleaner doesn't show it after analyzing registery anymore
Is that just a typo?
