When I run CCleaner to scan for registry issues with the 'Installer' box checked, it will get to 33% and then freeze. In taskmanager I can see CCleaner is using 50% CPU when frozen (I have a dual core system, so it's maxing out one core), and the only way I can close CCleaner when frozen is by ending the process.
The problem only occurs when cleaning the registry for installer issues, all other registry issues it can scan for okay.
I'm using Vista x64, logged in as an administrator, and have UAC disabled. I have AVG anti virus installed, but have the AVG Resident Shield disabled, so I don't think this should be interfering with it.
Thanks
Dave
