Prevent CCleaner Settings from Being Changed

Hello, I and most members of my family have CCleaner on our computers, though with different settings on what should be cleaned. Sometimes family members need to use my laptop, and they decide to run CCleaner in the "proper" manner which result in data that I don't want to be deleted ending up being deleted. I've gotten into a habit now of having a backup on an external USB or SD card of everything that could potentially be deleted, but it is still annoying having to spend 5+ minutes each time this happens, and there is always the possibility I will forget to make a backup.

Is there anyway to prevent CCleaner setting from being changed currently by other people? If not, how would I go about requesting this feature being added?

See if this helps:

1. Open CCleaner, and configure it to your preferences, and any Cookies to Keep that are important to you.

2. Go into Options > Advanced

3. Tick/enable Save all settings to INI file

4. Exit CCleaner.

5. Open the folder where CCleaner is installed and make a backup duplicate copy of the settings file ccleaner.ini ("ccleaner.ini.backup"), or optionally ZIP it in place so it resides in that folder - this will allow for easy restoration.

You can optionally mark ccleaner.ini as read-only meaning any changes done inside of CCleaner won't be saved when it's closed - this will retain your preferences and CCleaner doesn't complain about the file being read-only.
