"Press Space for Next Page" (Opera Tips)

Any of you guys been irritated by the "Tips" feature recently introduced into Opera?

The one which irked me was the randomly appearing pop up at the bottom of the screen which said "Press Space for Next Page" because I really don't need to be reminded about this Opera feature.

You can turn off this tip, and two others, by going into Opera's AppData folder and editing the "tips.ini" file.

Someone should give Opera a "tip" to have a tickable box to turn off tips like most programs behave which have them.

That 'press space for next page' drove me mad as well :)

This error page seems to give an indication of what type of fan base Opera has :lol:

Servers can't cope with the demand. :lol:

I've edited the title of this thread in case any other unfortunate souls driven mad by the helpful "Tips" is trying to google a solution, which is how I found a fix.

Nice to know, so if I try Opera again, I will beware!

However, I use Firefox at the moment, so I do not have this problem... :)
