possible bogus website on Google search

My Google search showed ccleaner.co with / as the m. My Norton internet securities program showed it ok but I still don't feel so comfortable about this. It isn't a download site I recognize and I have never see a .co/ before. Is that site legit?

Gosh I have been telling friends to Google cccleaner Gosh, I hope is was an ok site

I learned something today always tell the valid url to my friends then I know they get the right program. I recommend your program to all my friends. It is a fine one.

If it is a rogue site is there anything you have control over to have it taken down? Just curious. If it is legit I apologize for taking up your time.

I believe that there are many other sites that also offer CCleaner look-a-likes.

Some such sites may provide the "real thing".

CNET supplies the real thing but has the habit of foisting extra stuff as part of the deal - definitely not recommended.

Many other sites are fraudulent and will even charge for their product,

it would even be possible that what they supply is intended to damage the user's system and hold to ransom

ccleaner.co is an expired domain name. There is no actual website at that address, It's just a landing page promoting the .CO registry.

.CO is a perfectly valid TLD. I suggest you look it up on Wikipedia.

As the others have said, if in doubt always go to Piriform.com
