Where is the advantage to install the Slim or Standard Version and not the Portable Version to start from a shortcut on the Harddisk. As I read, CCleaner leaves many residues in the registry when uninstalling.

As i know, the standard version includes the recommendation for the google-chrome-browser, while the slim version doesnt contain this.

Depends what you're after. Do note that the Portable Free build has some features disabled such as Monitoring which wouldn't be essential for a portable environment.
