Portable Apps Suite

This is an awesome collection of essential apps for any USB thumb drive. This is a great collection for people that have to use public computers.(school,library, ect).

You will be able to browse with firefox, write with abiword, get email with thunderibird, and even use open office.(and a lot more)

I have been using this for a while to keep my surfing private at school. I also use the portable abiword and openoffice so that I can keep my docs fully compatable for with my software at home.(both apps are compatable with ms office but I like to use their formats instead.)

The package has:

Portable Firefox

Portable Abiword

Portable Openoffice

Portable Gaim

Portable Thunderbird

Portable Sunbird(mozilla based calender)

Yeah, to use portable apps is a good idea. LiveCD's are cool too. :)

Supposedly Knoppix (LiveCD Linux distribution based on Debian GNU/Linux) is good.

Many portable applications can be found on this website;
