Please help me with winapp2.ini

I am relatively ignorant of these matters but possibly someone out there might help me out.

I recently installed CCleaner and after finding that it did not clean "Avant Browser" (version 11.5), I sought help from this forum. After reading the pinned post by Twisted metal "Add A Program To Winapp2.ini ", I downloaded the winnapp2.zip and saved it to the CCleaner folder as instructed.

Now Avant does appear in the list of internet applications in CCleaner although when I run the cleaner, the Avant files are not cleaned.

Any advice would be much appreciated. :huh:

Hi,

don't know Avant Browser, however notice that, as in most "IE based" browsers,

all the... crap to clean is shared with IE. Temporary Internet Files, Cookies, Index.dat file, etc...

So just check the Internet Explorer section of CCleaner to delete all this stuff.
