PixPipeline Image Hosting

Can one or more of you guys try the PixPipeline website for me?

"Down for everyone or just me?" says it's fine but I can't access it at all, or load images on the forum hosted there.

Thanks.

Downforeveryone now says 'it's not just you!'

So it's down Dennis.

Thanks hazel. It lied to me.

it's up afaics <_<

That's interesting.

Still down for me but "showing up for everyone" else at the moment.

Anyone else like to try?

Odd.

I just got this, anyone else seeing this?

Straight in with no delay or hesitation.

Only problem is that I would forget what I wanted to upload by the time I have read their "Terms of Service"

EDIT by my clock on the wall, and the Internet Time in Notification tray, I actually posted at 21:09 GMT.

Looks like the Invision Forum supplier have the wrong country settings.

One of the Wonder of Windows is how I receive email replies with time stamps that are 1 or 2 hours earlier than the message they replied to.

Works fine for me and good, they're the image host I prefer to use.

Odd.

Are you using a 3rd party DNS service??

Open a DOS Prompt (cmd.exe) and type: nslookup www.pixpipeline.com

do you get 66.29.95.236 or something else??

Up for me

I'm getting the same as hazel now.

Address from Richards suggestion is 67:215:65:132

Some of the pinned topics use PixPipeline hosted images, which is why I'm pursuing this. If they have to be re-hosted, no worries, but I'll wait and see what transpires here.

I was thinking a Hosts file update, or even a block for something on another site could be the issue but it's not just me. Strange.

The trouble with ISPs they p*** around with your web connection that it's hard to tell whether what you're seing is for real or proxy cache.

I did a host lookup via my US shell account and it gave me a totally different IP address: 216.146.38.113

However looking at the error screen it would seem to suggest the website is changing the hosting company but not the website (migrate).

Sorry Richard a bit late with my reply. I get 66.29.95.236 and I can see it perfectly now.

Open DNS by the way.

Perhaps according to what they had posted in my screenie it should 'go off' again.

Or perhaps PixPipeline have actually migrated now. As Dennis said it's something we need to keep an eye on as so many threads would be broken without the screenshots hosted there.

Seems OK now.
