I wanted to know how many of you would like Piriform's development team to focus on porting their software to linux or instead improving their existing software for windows/mac.Personally I would like them to make a version of their software(ccleaner, recuva, defragger and especially speccy) for Linux.Post your opinions below and I'd be happy to read them
There are so many linux distros that something like CCleaner is unlikely, and I don't know how useful defragging is on ext3/4 file systems. Speccy I could see being useful, same with Recuva.
There is always improvements needed for the Windows versions, that's a given and they do fix things. In the case of CCleaner they'll sometimes add-in more cleaning of software, which to me would be an improvement - regardless of some people wanting a new UI and some other fancy stuff, etc.
There's been some requests over the years by people to have Linux versions of the software (a few being former Windows users) however there is a boat load of alternative free software for Linux distros, so I don't know how someone couldn't possibly find something else.
The Mac software versions first off need experienced Mac users joining the forum that actually use the software because Windows members that don't use Mac really aren't able to properly assist with issues, or even general questions.
